Marcel Breuer (Hungary/usa 1902-1981)

First edition model b34 cantilever chair from the 1920s/30s for Thonet.

These early versions had the curved under-seat to the frame.

The thick velvet type fabric to the seat and back have been on the chair for many years. They may be original to the chair as we have found Breuer chairs in the Bauhaus archives with the same type of fabric.

Jean Claude Mahey (French Mid-late c20th)

A console-table-desk. This multi-functional piece was manufactured in the early 1970s.

It is made from burr walnut and ebony wood with brass sectioned base.

Hein Stolle (NL. 1924 – 2006)

Small ‘Stolwijk’ table. Plywood and steel – Original paint.

Spectrum furniture. 1954-55

Produced for a limited period only. This rare table was designed by Hein Stolle.

Stolle was a Dutch architect and furniture designer. From 1946-1950 he was a member of the Groep &, alongside Wim den Boon and Pierre Kleykamp and during the early 1950s, in collaboration, with Martin Visser he designed furniture for the department stores de Bijenkorf and Metz & Co.

Dom Hans vd Laan / Jan de JongĀ  (Dutch c20th)

Three bench/ chair sections. These were designed made by the architect/Benedictine monk and architect Jan de Jong in the 1970s as part of a commission for a personal library.
